Wicked Nice Day!

DSC07507

The Weather Horse found a cool beginning moving to bright sun in partly sunny skies, brisk and refreshing NW winds blowing mane, tail and chasing off the flies, shadows distinct, rustling treetops, clean high pressure air filling the countryside.

Rain Today

chillin

The Weather Horse hanging in the barn this morning before the rain really began, stealing hay from over the rope, debating escape to where the grass must be greener, ignoring Rev, being a bit of a Honey Badger about the day, cloudy and wet, water buckets filling, good for the ground and to be industrious indoors.

Welcoming Another New Week!

echinecia

The Weather Horse amongst the Echinacea and his own personal swarm of little black flies under beautiful blue skies and warming sunshine, in the front yard again mowing grass but leaving weeds to thrive, wondering what the day may bring, welcoming another new week!

Sunny Sunday

front yard tail

The Weather Horse reports sneaking out through the other barn door to munch the front lawn shorter, enjoying high pressure blue skies with full sun shining brilliantly, no rain in sight, flourishing flowers blooming and forming seeds for the future, the glory of Summer evident in this sunny Sunday!

Stunning Saturday in Store!

DSC07490

The Weather Horse reports Rev likes green beans, the squash bugs are winning – wilting the cukes and wiping out the zukes, glad the gladiolas are wonderful, tomatoes are thriving thankfully, Rev is letting Lancer know while the horse neck is scratched by the tree, another stunning Saturday in store as Summer continues with delightful temps drying, soft breezes blowing, mostly sunny skies, enjoy this Weekend!

Wet Friday

wet

The Weather Horse is wet from heavy rain and not particularly comfortable with umbrellas while Rev enjoys the run, waves of water making the greenhouse noisy, rivulets running off hindquarters and stomach, dripping mane and tail, wet horse smell accompanying the wet dog smell as the countryside is nourished from above.

Stretching into the week’s end…

stretch

The Weather Horse ignoring the rain filled air eats wet grass and clover while Rev has a good stretch under heavy overcast and the ghostly roar of a low flying heavy, misty precip giving way to brightening skies to spur on graceful gladiolas in bright purples, reds and sherberty oranges, trumpeting vines triumphing, bee balm red and flocks bursting pink blossoms throughout the gardens.

Dog Wars

dog wars

The Weather Horse reports dog wars at a temporary truce while Johnnie is off on a jaunt, marking his neighborhood, mostly sunny in some high cloudiness to begin with temps still suggesting the fall to come, misty covering on the feathery asparagus, squash bugs assaulting the zukes and cukes, Sterling shows up after a perfect cat hunting night out, wet pasture soaking feet and leaving paw prints throughout the house.

Glorious Summer Day

leaf shadow

The Weather Horse eating in the sun reports increasing temps, subtly moving air with an occasional cloud puffing by, glorious summer day, friendly dogs greeting walkers, gladiolas gracing the gardens, clean shadows patterning the horse back adding beauty to an already beautiful form.

Welcoming Changes in the New Week
