Hello Sunshine!

greet the day

The Weather Horse reports a chipmunk held captive behind the rototiller while Sterling sits – with cat patience – waiting, greeting the sun and cheery blue sky, no sign of rain with still and fresh air, rooster loudly crowing over his own majesty, a great day for a ride, gardening, eating clover or anything else outside – Happy Saturday!

Oh Revy…

Oh Revy

The Weather Horse, Flag Day 2013, reports rain this morning drying out, brightening skies, cool start with temps bound to increase with any sun, hayfields ripe throughout the surrounding countryside, eggs hatching in little nests, robins chirping and swallows dipping round the barn, still winds and dripping leaves, thankfully its Friday!

Conversing with the Flowers

The Weather Horse, 13 June 2013, reports bright sunshine to start but not to last, a cardinal calling ceremoniously, a day to wile away the hours, conversing with the flowers, consulting with the rain, drat daisies in the lawn are mowed – still plentiful in the field along with a lush crop of clover to covet, waning wind, clouds increasing, time for being without bugs or bites, Rev is close by investigating walkers – oblivious to the calm.

Keep Out of the Garden!

horseradish

The Weather Horse, Wednesday, 12 June 2013, reports random, rampant squash (or melon of some sort) springing from the compost pile, the giant horseradish (that can’t be killed) thriving in its corner of the garden, green beans and cucumber hills surviving the horse angel and hoofprints from the other night, some light rain drying up in breaking clouds, damp and a little dark this cool morning with unsettled conditions expected throughout today.
